Hi,

I'm looking for tubing for use in slingshots.
I've gotten an email from your distributor in europe, and the thinnest tube is 14mm...
This is 40% thicker then the theratube silver I use in really heavy slingshots, and takes over 10kgs/22pounds to pull!per tube!

What pull weight is needed to extend the thinnest (14mm) tubes 300%?

Thanks in advance,
Deimos

Hi Demios

There are two sizes used for slingshots.

3/16" I.D. x 1/16" wall which is the most commonly used.
3/16" I.D. x 3/32" wall is uses rarely and for high power slingshots

Feel free to download our force calculator. It is located on the download page that is on our home page. You can use it to determine the resistance of tubing at different elongations.
